Amazon is tagged as being the biggest bookstore in the world, and not only do they sell books, the sell nearly anything else you can imagine, from lawn-mowers to lavatory brushes! So by joining Amazon associates, anything Amazon sell you can sell through your website and earn commission from each successfully sale!!

Commission ranges between 4% up to 10% which is quite reasonable considering the service is free!! The first thing to do is Join Amazon Associates. This is a straight forward process and 99% of sites generally get accepted, once you have been accepted you can go to the "Associates Central" area, sounds exciting doesn't it!! This section enables you to get the link code which directs your customer to the particular product on Amazon, and lets amazon know that you sent them by means of affiliate tags in the code.

To get the code all you need to do is click on the "BUILD LINKS" button, search for your product and click on the Get Html next to the product!

IMPORTANT: Wordpress does not like the "Text and image" or "Image only" type link, only use text links. Below is an example of my affiliate link to amazon to a book i am reading at the minute.

Here you can see in bold is my affiliate tag, this is such an easy way to add monetizing links to your blog as first of all it adds a useful link to anyone interested and secondly because you have integrated it into the blog subject you have more chance of someone buying through you.
