I came across this whilst reading "Get More traffic - Technorati Tags" On Courtney Tuttle's blog, I'm not going to delve into detail here as Courtney has done a superb job of explaining how and why tags work. But to sum it up, if you include tag's in your posts it makes it easier for Technorati to put your post into categories and more chance of finding your blog!
A very powerful plugin helps you create tags for your posts which are generated from your post text and Yahoo's popular keyword searches. The plugin is called……wait for it…..The Ultimate Tag Warrior and although it is really hard to install, once it is installed it makes creating "OPTIMAL" tags for your posts really easy!
Take for example, as i am writing this Post, there is a button below the text window which says "GET KEYWORD SUGGESTIONS FROM YAHOO" and if i click it it generates these tags from the current text and the most popular searches on yahoo.

All i have to do now is click on the words i feel are most relevant to this post and it adds tag's to the bottom pf the page! This is a wonderful plugin and I'm glad to have been shown it so early in my blogging career!
As i said this is really hard to install compared to other plugins but don't let that put you off, the benefits far outweigh the time it will take to get it installed. This really is a brilliant plugin! It makes it so much easier to create Technorati tags, not to mention the SEO benefits. I'm really glad I decided to try it!
Thank you for blogging it, if you had'nt put it on your blog I wouldnt be using it now! Tricky to install but well worth it!!
