Today was the closing date for my blog promotion to win money for reviewing my website in, have has a reasonable response to this promo and it has been a great insight and lesson in to how to run my next promo (in development now!). As stated in the rules the winner was decided by the person who used the closest amount of words in their blog to my pre-chosen number which was 276.

So what have I learned from running this blog? The main lesson is that even though you are running a competition to promote your bog you still need to put in a lot of work promoting the actual competition. Also I feel that running it for only 1 week is too short, once people find out about a competition it can take longer than a week for it to fully circulate! If you are running your own promotion let me know, its always good to hear what new ingenious idea someone else has came up with!
