I was show this software by a friend of mine at work and straight away I loved it, It Is called Salling Clicker and enables you via bluetooth, to control itunes and Power-point via your mobile phone, available for PC & Mac. This is perfect for event or if you just like gadgets as you can be nearly anywhere in your house (depending on your bluetooth strength), and choose what to play on itunes without having to go near your computer. Alternatively if your job involves events where powerpoint is used allot (like mine!) using your phone to trigger powerpoint slides is really handy as the next slide to come is displayed on your handset along with any notes you may wish to add, clients love this!

Installation is really easy, you simply download the software to your computer, pair you phone with your computer and after following the on screen instructions a small piece of software is installed on your phone. You can set to activate Salling Clicker on your computer on start up and all you need to do from here is access the program on your phone, select the application you wish to open and your done.

At a cost of  $23.93 it is quite reasonable and you also can try before you buy if you download the trial option! I am not affiliated with salling in any way I just thought I would share my thoughts on it!
