Tropical Cyclone Visits Oman - Aftermath Pictures

Earlier this month a tropical cyclone blasted the state of Oman coast and reeked havoc across many miles of coastline. My sister and brother-in-law are currently out there at the moment and sent me these pictures of the aftermath. This was the strongest cyclone to threaten the Arabian Peninsula in 60 years and has left a path of devastation in its wake. According to news results it is currently estimated that 23 people were killed by the cyclone and many more were injured. Currently aid workers are in the process of trying to provide shelter for those left homeless by the cyclone and work is underway to try and restore the coast to some for of stability again. I just had to share these photos as I was shocked to see the damage caused by this tropical storm.

Lets all hope there are no more casualties and everything begins to resume normality in the next few month!
