I cant believe that 2 whole months have passed since starting this blog on the 3rd May, it just feels like a couple of weeks ago when i first dis my word press installation and got this blog up and running. So here we are yet again, a time to reflect and work out how much this blog has made over the past month. Following on form My First Month Review I will be taking the figures from the 3rd of the month to the 3rd of the following month, here goes then….

Technorati ranking

Currently this blog is ranked 4,519 in the Technorati ranking scale which is a massive jump from this time last month where I was ranked 37,223 this is 99% because of Viralink and Viraltags and also the Review Carousel which was begun by over at How To Spoter which I am going to do a review in later in the week. After getting in the to 5K Technorati blogs I am getting virtually no traffic from Technorati which doest really bother me as Google is doing a fine job of pointing people over here.

Traffic

Last month has seen a considerable increase in traffic with 20,000 page-views in June compared to 6,000 in may. Although the page-views have increased by 200% my unique hits per day have averaged around the 300 mark compared to last months daily average of 250. Its nice to see this increase and I put the increased page views down to the fact that the is much more content now than there was a month ago. I am happy with my current growth at the moment, in the middle of June I did see a massive spike in page-views for 3 days between the 18th and the 20th. I'm not quite sure what it was, maybe it was the Virlain & Virlatags debate heating up, you can read about it here The monster in retrospect. Next month I expect to get about 35 to 40,000 page-views and hopefully an increase in unique hits.

Blog Earnings 3rd June 3rd July

So here we go again, what everyone loves to find out, how much each others blogs have made them over the previous month. (cumulative)

Adsense earnings were pretty steady for the beginning of the month then on the 22nd of June I earned $4.43 in one day then it began to drop off again and retrace to the average of $0.80 per day. Looking at the figures and my stats I have put this down to this was when my post Is it worth paying off my student loan early got indexed by Google and began getting some organic, targeted traffic, and due to the nature of the post I expect a few high paying keywords there for Adsense.

Kontera

I have been a little disappointed with kontera as i expected my earnings to increase with content and traffic on this one. I have earned as little as $0.02 one day to the maximum of $0.99 another day,I expected these earnings to be more consistent. Also later in June i noticed less keywords being highlighted than usual which i posted about here Whats going on with Kontera?. I'm still going to carry on with Kontra as i expect they are still working on their Algorithm's and payment scales.

I only put this paypall donation link on the middle of June and so far have had no donations, I'm sure if Paypal would accept 1 cent donations I'd get loads. lol. I'm going to leave this up as im sure eventually someone will gain something from one of my posts and decide to donate. Only about 4million cents to go and I can get my Lotus! lol

Earnings Summary

I expected the earnings to be lower this month as i have excluded any referrals from bucks for banners which i am still earning $10.00 per month from for advertising on another site. Well thats another month down and once again i have met some really great fellow bloggers, learned some clever SEO tips and techniques which i well gradually be posting about over the coming month and have has a great time getting into the rhythm of blogging. Heres to another month!
