It took me a while to realize it but my blog was probably loosing repeat visits because I had not installed this plugin. The plugin I am talking about is "
Subscribe to comments" and since installing it a couple of weeks back I have noticed a reasonable increase in my repeat hits. Heres how it works, rather simple really. Each time someone leaves a comment on your blog they are automatically enrolled in subscribe to comments (you can uncheck the option to subscribe), and each time someone leaves a reply to the comments they are then sent an email telling them that a new comment has been left. This is great for getting repeat visits, which is good exposure of your blog and also helps keep your blog in peoples minds!
I highy recommend trying out this plugin for yourself, if oyu have ever asked yourself, " how can i increase my repeat traffic" then this is it!

Hi Andy,
I also use the 'Subscribe to this comment' plugin and I can say that I also see repeated visitors cause of the use of this plugin. Additionally I have installed the 'Threaded comments' plugin which makes it easier answering to comments.
Hi Torsten, I was looking at the threaded comments but I don't get enough comments at the minute to warrant it. Maybe in another 6 month when I get loads of comments
