I've finally made it to the first major blogging milestone, I have passed the 3 Month blogging mark. Some days it has been easy but some days it has been really hard to come up with original content, but on the whole I have found it quite fun and surprisingly addictive! This month has been a particular struggle ot keep my blog updated everyday due to my other workload as i discussed in my post, I've misplaced my blogging mojo. As i expected, blogging is something which you have to learn just like everything else and as time has progressed it has become easier but never the less I still get bloggers block some days! Anyway, back to what everyone loves to read about, "other boggers earnings for the month", if you've missed my previous months reviews you can recap here:

Page Rank
Currently Andy Coates Dot Com still is not displaying any page rank but I expect the Google update to come around in the next few weeks. This will be very interesting to see how the effects of Viralink and Viral tags (Developed by Founders Cafe) have had upon this update. Currently after checking my link popularity I have 2,981 incoming links from various parts of the internet which in theory should give me an average page rank of between 3 and 5. Only time will tell so stay tuned for this one.

Techorati Ranking
Currently my Techorati ranking stands at a stunning 3,514 which is largely down to Viralink and Viraltags and the very cleverly thought out Reciprocal Review Carousel over at how to spotter. Technorati sends me very little traffic but its nice to see this authority figure even thought it has been achieved through loopholes! he he!

Traffic
July has been quite a strange month for traffic, near the start of July my traffic seriously tailed of and seems to have stabilized at about 300 hits per day with around 120 unique totaling 11,000 hits for the month of July. I can only assume from this that once again, the hype and popularity of Viralink and Viral tags has died down and I'm getting more targeted traffic instead of general passive traffic. It was quite a shock to see this decline but after a week I was over it and took it on the chin, I am getting allot of traffic from Google which is better for my blog and hopefully for my adsense CTR, you can read about this at my post Profit from AdSense.

Adsense
Adsens has been OK but I need to work on getting more high paying adverts into my blog, after running channels to find out which adverts were being clicked I found out how little some of the adverts were paying. Over time as I discussed in the Importance of persistence in bloging success, as long as i keep adding good relevant content my blog will make money as pages get indexed and found through Google searches (other search engines are available) .

Kontera
This month has been particularly poor for Kontera, probably due to the slump in traffic but again, like adsense each click seems to be worth less than it was last month. As my traffic continues to slowly increase again i can expect my Kontera earnings go up in-line too.

Help fix my plumbing (previously buy me a coffee/ lotus donation fund!)
I had no donations to my blog so had to fix my own plumbing and learned how to do plumbing at the same time, you can read about it in my post here: Confidence from trying (and copper pipes)

Bucks 4 Banners
Once again Bucks 4 banners is back as a top earner which has proved to be the easiest $160 I have made so far! I have included it here in my blog earnings as the referrals which netted me this cash came from here! Three cheers for Bucks 4 banners!

Earnings summary

I am pleased with the outcome this month as i know that through the second half of July i didn't put as much effort into my blog as I could have but still managed to earn more than last month. This is just one step toward generating a Residual income which is just one of the secrets of becoming wealthy! Next month I will delve more into financial articles about making money, looking after you cash etc but will still be sticking to the good old making money on-line and developing yourself and your blog! These are all things which i have a personal interest in and hope to pass on some valuable, useful but most importantly interesting information.
