During the past week I have been spending most of my time painting, filling, sanding and tiling different rooms in my new house, the whole process has been a long one but at last the end appears to be insight. What surprised me about doing certain jobs was how you kind of loose track of time and your surroundings when you begin to do repetitive tasks such as tiling an entire bathroom! With the guidance of my girlfriends father we began tiling the bathroom about 5 days ago and for the past 2 days I have been on my own, slowly putting each tile on one by one, measuring, cutting and leveling to make sure everything is perfectly aligned. In the beginning the whole task seemed mammoth as then we had about 350 tiles waiting to be stuck perfectly straight our wonky walls! Now the tiling is probably around 2/3rds complete and only yesterday I took a step back and realized how much had been done, it was a very satisfying feeling after I had counted nearly 200 tiles stuck perfectly (well most of them) aligned with each other on the walls!
ts amazing how things add up when you are not looking over time which got me thinking about my kontera earnings. On average Kontera brings in about $0.12 per day to this website and I was thinking about ditching it altogether as I am disappointed by its performance. But thinking about the long term and how quickly things add up when your not constantly looking every day ( I was terrible for that at one point!) I have decided to leave Kontera ticking away in the background, If it generates $40 in a year at-least it will contribute to the bigger picture alongside my AdSense earnings, Pay Per Post Earnings, Soon to be Text Link Ads earnings, Money4Banners Earnings, EurolotteryWinner earnings (separate form this blog) Amazon Earnings plus other smaller affiliate deals. Separately they don't seem to add up to very much but I'm looking forward to my 12 month review when I can look back at the BIGGER PICTURE and see how each and every one of these pieces adds up!If oyur a fellow blogger and you feel like your getting nowhere with your blog and blog earnings check out my post The importance of persistence in blogging success.
P.s
I'll put some pictures up of my shiney new bathroom once i have all the pieces in place!
