Why? Because I've been charged 7% interest since I've gotten it, WHILE still being in school. I wish I would've researched more, but it was suggested by my parents to just go with our local bank. It wasn't until this year (my final year of school) when talking with my girlfriend I realized how much they've screwed me over. I remember having to prove I had a job while in school, but this didn't strike me as odd since it's my first loan. My mom didn't see anything wrong me paying 7% interest while in school. I have 1 year to pay off the loan until the interest goes up to god knows what. Should be fun. I got screwed with my student loan. Why?
